Haven't left yet and we're already planning coming back again! So close to a lot of different places to go.
Amazing place! We stayed at the motel... Only one night... But it was like a beautiful time capsule. Hope to return for longer!

The owners are great, our room was immaculate. No dust. No cobwebs. NOTHING! They sure do take pride in keeping this place up. Yeah, nothing about it is modern, except the flat screen tv's, but we like that if feels warm and inviting. Rooms are generous in size, and that's such a perk! A very welcoming place to be.
This is a beautiful historic lodge right on the lake. They have a large front porch over looking the lake. It is so relaxing there. One night we watch a storm blow in across the lake with heavy rain. We watched it all from the porch. It was magnificent. The large rooms in the lodge that include breakfast are especially nice. They are lovely rooms and have plenty of lounge area around the rooms. Love going into the old bar in the evening, shooting pool, playing the old jute boxes. That is a step back in time. It brought us back to our teenage days. The lodge is very relaxing. The owners are wonderful and can tell you a lot of the history of the place if you ask. We stayed there in mid July 2017. We are going back this fall around the color season time. The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean. You will love this place.

Excellent place! We stopped for a night and we're very happy with everything. The rooms were very clean and well kept with an unbeatable view. Owners were also excellent. The home made muffins in the morning were awesome. It's definitely worth staying here. I will again if I am in the area.
